Do I need a car seat for my child in a private car in Orlando?
Florida’s child restraint law (Section 316.613) covers children age five and younger, but it exempts chauffeur-driven vehicles hired for compensation, such as taxis, limousines, sedans and vans. The law leaves the responsibility with the parent or guardian (Florida Statutes 316.613). A seat is safer for small children, so tell us your child’s age when you book.
